They have successfully secured numerous patents for companies large and small, foreign and domestic.Â For Siemens Corporation, they have drafted and filed 12 patents in the area of biomedical devices.Â For Pioneer Energy, they have developed the company’s intellectual property strategy and have secured 5 issued U.S. patents and one Canadian patent in the area of clean electricity and clean oil production. For Senduzy Corporation, they have obtainedÂ 2 patents in the area of consumer devices. For KD Secure, they have securedÂ 5 issued U.S. patents and are currently prosecutingÂ 15 other U.S. and international patents.

Dan Hussain isÂ Founder, President and Chairman of seed-stage capital firmÂ American Pioneer Ventures and patentÂ law firmÂ American Patent Agency, with offices in New York, Pittsburgh, Denver, Johnstown, and Tampa.Â Dan retired from his position as President ofÂ KD Secure, a company he co-founded in 2007, with offices near MIT’s campus.Â Dan follows Teddy Roosevelt’s motto “Far better it is to dare mighty things, even though checkered by failure, than to dwell with those poor souls, in that perpetual twilight, that knows neither victory nor defeat,” which he credits for his success.Â Dan is also currently pursuing a PhD inÂ Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
